Document Description
The project will treat three passage barriers on Stuart Creek to allow passage for juvenile and adult steelhead to two miles of spawning and rearing habitat. The Arnold Drive Culvert will be modified to include a new low-flow channel with baffles to regulate flow depth and velocity. The failed concrete bridge with a 5.7 foot drop at Stuart Creek Run will be removed and replace with a series of chutes and pools to allow fish passage. The Glen Oaks Dam modification includes widening the spillway notch by 4 feet to a 10 foot outlet width, combined with lowering the spillway 2 feet - leaving drop of 1.2 feet to the water surface.
