Elementis Specialties, Inc. is proposing to redesign and increase the capacity of their existing overburden stockpiles by (1) increasing their height by approximately 65 to 95 feet; and (2) increasing the surface area or footprint of the stockpiles within the approved mine and reclamation areas by approximately 32.5 acres; and (3) to extend the life of the project by 20 years to February 28, 2057 from its approved expiration date of February 28, 2037.
