The project consists of 1) the demolition of 9 existing structures on the subject property; 2) the construction of a 2-story, 80,000 sf Senior Residential Care Facility for the Elderly with 96 suites and 130 beds that specializes in services for seniors with Alzheimer's and other memory impairments; and 3) the preservation and re-use/re-purpose of the existing 'Kindergarten' building on the subject property located in a Coastal Zone. Vehicular access to the site would be provided from Knob Ave via a 28-ft wide driveway at the NW corner of the site and a 25-ft wide entry-only access point for fire, delivery, and trash trucks at the SW corner of the site on Ave A.
