Document Description
The Los Alamitos General Plan Update ("GPU") establishes a comprehensive framework through which the City of Los Alamitos manages its development to ensure its efficiently and effectively provides public facilities and services. Specifically, the GPU identifies land use designations, as well as goals and policies to govern development through 2035. The Village 605 Shopping Center includes up to 113,880 sq. ft. of commercial development on 9.56 acres. The Site Plan shows 105,880 sq. ft. development with the possibility of an additional, 8,000 sq. ft. of subsequent development. The project includes three large outdoor seating areas and two building pads along Katella Ave., upon which seven buildings will be constructed to house two 24-hour drive-through restaurant operations, three major tenants with in-line shops between the major tenants. The project is anticipated to provide a mix of retail, commercial and restaurant tenants, inclusive of a market, retail stores, commercial services and other retailers that offer a variety of products.
