Document Description
The proposed project includes renovations and additions to existing health care facilities, the construction of small new facilities, and associated infrastructure improvements, all within the developed area of NKSP Improvements at the institution would include a total of 16,079 sf of renovation, 22,340 sf of new buildings or additions and 5,850 sf of additional exterior impervious surface (walkways). All construction would be consistent in character, design, and height with other existing buildings and would not exceed one story. No high-mast lighting would be installed as part of the project. The project does not include any new inmate beds. Twelve additional employees would be hired. The project would not result in expansion of the existing secure perimeter.
