Request by John Hearts Madrid for a Minor Use Permit / Coastal Development Permit to allow for a three unit hotel of 5,670 sf. The site is composed of two parcels of 3,220 sf and 2,760 sf respectively totaling 5,980 sf. The proposed project will be built across both parcels and result in the disturbance of the entire site area. The proposed project is within the Commercial Retail land use category and is located at 1111 Strand Way, approximately 100 feet north of the intersection of Pier and Strand Avenues, located in the community of Oceano. The site is in the San Luis Bay Coastal planning area.
