Document Description
The CAP is a policy document that sets forth policies and programs (referred to as "climate action measures") and implementation actions to help the City of Pismo Beach reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the anticipated effects of climate change. CEQA requires the analysis of physical impacts on the environment. As such, the impact analysis focuses on adoption of the CAP and implementation of the climate action measures and actions and whether they would result in physical environmental impacts. Additional project description is provided in the draft Negative Declaration.
