Document Description
The site of St. Joseph's Church is fully developed, comprising church, cemetery, detached residence/rectory, concrete walkways, stairs, asphalt pavement. The proposed project will involve alterations to site improvements involving: 1) Demolition of existing, and reconstruction of concrete pavement, retaining walls, entry stairs, walkways, landscaped areas; and 2) New construction of access improvements consisting of a pedestrian ramp, landing, exterior stairs and exterior lighting. Improvements will not alter existing buildings on the site, and new buildings are not proposed. The church, rectory and cemetery are listed collectively on the CA Historical Resources as Landmark No. N1685. On the National Register of Historic Places, they are National Register No. 91000424.
