Document Description
Pursuant to the Voluntary Cleanup Agreement (VCA), the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is proposing to select remedies recommended in a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) prepared by Leighton Consulting, Inc. and Gatwick Group, LLC., collectively the Respondents, for the Gatwick Group LLC, Commerce (Site) The RAW was required by the VCA, docket number HAS VCA 12/13-081, effective December 30, 2013. Gatwick Group LLC, and DTSC entered in to a VCA pursuant to the California Health and Safety Code, section 25355.5(a)(1)(C), which authorizes DTSC to enter into an enforceable agreement to oversee the investigation and/or remediation of a release or threatened release of any hazardous substances at or from the Site. Project activities include the following: excavation/offsite disposal, soil vapor extraction (SVE), and groundwater monitoring.
