Document Description
The Project includes thirteen geotechnical borings, with two occuring bank side and one overwater boring in the Feather River. Boring depth will be to a depth of 150 feet below existing grade. Geotechnical borings will be drilled with a truck-mounted and barge mounted drill rig equipped with a 5 inch diameter rotary wash drilling system. A barge will be used for boring WR-12-03; a sectional barge and skid rig will be individually transported to a nearby boat launch ramp. Assembly of the barge and the skid rig will take place before launching to the river.
