- The project will implement active restoration activities on 49 unauthorized (and currently closed) routes within the Bishop Creek Project Area. These routes are causing or have potential to cause continuing resource impacts unless physically restored. Physical treatments include: vertical mulch (native vegetation and rock); native ground mulch; seeding and planting native vegetation; waterbars or other drainage features; decompaction; removing berms from the sides of the routes; removing fills and culverts at intermittent stream channels; and recontouring the road surface (naturalize grade by reducing fill and cut slopes).
