Document Description
The Buckingham Park Water District (the Water District) serves the portable water needs of a small rural Northern California community, which is located within the Buckingham Peninsula of Clear Lake in the township of Kelseyville. There are approximately 650 full time or year round residents, with the popuiation growing to as much as 1,120 during the summer months.
In September of 2008 the California Department of Public Health issued an amended Domestic Water Supply Permit to the Water District that contained many compliance requirements, which must be overcome by the Water District in order to ensure the Water District can effectively provide sufficient safe and wholesome water for domestic use to its customers.
