Document Description
The purpoise of the project is to mitigate impacted soil that exceeds the project specific residential cleanup levels in order to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (COCs). The RAW focuses on excavation, on-site consolidation, and encapsulation of approximately 14,500 cubic yards of soil impacted with elevated levels of lead, total petroleum hydrocarbons as motor oil (TPHmo) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). The impacted soil will be encapsulated under a two foot soil cover. It is also estimated that 1,000 cubic yards of non-contaminated soil will be generated, stockpiled on-site, covered, and reuse.
