Document Description
The Project consists of retrofitting the existing Geer Road Bridge over the Tuolumne River by replacing the existing wing-walls and pedestals and expanding two (2) of the bridge's piers. Construction includes cast-in-place concrete using forms for the wing walls and pedestals, and the Cast-In-Steel-Shell (CISS) method for installing the four (4) total piles necessary for the new piers. The new piers will be connected to the existing piers with extended pier walls, grade beams and cap beams.
