Document Description
The proposed project involves placing updated, coordinated wayfinding signage throughout downtown San Diego, including the North and South Embarcadero areas of the District Tidelands. The proposed areas to recieve signage include the East Village, City College, Horton Plaza, Little Italy in the city of San Diego, as well as, the downtown San Diego Embarcadero area of the District's Tidelands, along Harbor Drive between Laurel Street and the San Diego Convention Center. The proposed signage consists of vehicular and pedestrian signs with a consistent color scheme, providing direction to major landmarks. The proposed project includes a Memorandum of Agreement whereby the District will be responsible for maintenance and removal of the signage on the District's Tidelands. Installation is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2014.
