Document Description
The projects includes critical collection system improvements, rehabilitation of lift station wet wells, lift station pump and control replacements, as well as electrical, seismic and process mechanical improvements at the WPCP. Collection system rehabilitation involves replacement of existing pipelines with new pipelines which are located within roadways or WCWD easements. Pipeline installation or improvement will require open-trench excavation, removal of existing pipeline, new pipeline installation, and backfilling with imported fill material. Installation of improvement pipelines under Hwy I-80 and under the railroad will be accomplished by jack and bore or microtunnelling methods.
