Document Description
The project consists of hand crews removing small conifers with a overall height of five feet. The intent is to remove these small conifer allowing the meadow to fuction at a higher level. Hand crews will transport the material generated to chipping machines located outside the SEZ into a truck and moved to South Lake Tahoe Refuse. A follow up treatment will involve hand crew planting of Willows and/or Aspens within portions of te meadow.

Forestry activities include hand crew treatment to remove small conifers which are encroaching into a exisitng meadow. Hand crew planting of Willow stakes and/or Aspens in the spring will further enhance the function of this meadow system. The projects consists of minor alterations in the condition of the land and does not result in a significant change in land use or intensity of use.
