The project is limited to restoration of the streambank on 2 parcels of private property, originally designed as part of the Trinity River Restoration Program's Lower Indian Creek Restoration Project. Restoration includes excavation of fine sand and turf grass along 220 feet of streambank and 25 feet in width, and recontouring the bank to a lower gradual slope with a mix of soil salvaged from the excavation along with course alluvial cobble.
