Document Description
The Project is limited to the removal, in-kind replacement and repair of approximately 220 existing piles, pile guides and appurtenant hardware with new hollow, spun concrete piles and/or steel sleeve piles ranging in size from 13 inches in diameter to 20 inches, and between 30 to 75 feet in lengh. Pile driving work will be accomplished with a 4.5-inch diameter water jet pipe system that drives piles to within 4 feet of tip. Piles will then be seated as necessary for embedment relative to geotechnical conditions using a dynamic hammer.
