Document Description
The TART highway 267 route will serve the Lahontan community using a route that operates from highway 267 onto Shaffer Mill Road through the Martis Camp community, to Mill Site Road, to Big Springs Road, to Northstar Drive to the Northstar Transit Center. An easement has been provided allowing access on Shaffer Mill Road by public transit. This route would operate in both directions. This route alignment may be operated on all runs operated by Tahoe Area Regional Transit between the Town of Truckee and Northstar Village, and would begin on December 14, 2013. This route alignment may also be operated on a subset of runs to meet the ridership demand by time of day. The route may also be suspended or cancelled, as necessary, due to lack of demand or operating conditions.
