Document Description
The project consists of the request for a grading permit to restore the floodplain and riparian habitat adjacent to the Cosumnes River. The project will result in several levees to be breached in strategic locations to enhance flooding of 828 acres of land adjacent to the lower Cosumnes River. Approximately 500 acres within the Natural Resources Conservation Service's easement area would be restored to riparian habitat.
