Document Description
Senate Bill 4, enacted on September 20, 2013 added certain provisions to the Public Resources Code. One of the newly added provisions (section 3161, subd. (b)(e)) requires the CA Dept. of Conservation to conduct an EIR to provide the public with detailed information regarding any potential environmental impacts of well stimulation in the State. The NOP filed with the SCH on November 18, 2013 pertains to the EIR required by SB 4.
