Within limits of Project, I-215 currently provides 3-lanes in each direction. Barton Rd is a 2-lane roadway west of I-215 and a 4-lane facility with turn lanes at various intersections east of I-215. Barton Rd provides 4 ramps that connection to I-215: southbound on- and off-ramps, and northbound on- and off-ramps. The Project's purpose is to improve operation, increase the capacity, and reduce existing and future congestion at I-215/Barton Rd.
