Document Description
On June 23, 2015 the City of Claremont City Council approved Amended Resolution of Necessity of the City of Claremont Authorizing Acquisition by Eminent Domain of those Portions of the Golden State Water Company's Water System Known as the Claremont District Water System to the Extent Located Within the City of Claremont, and Amended Resolution of Necessity of the City of Claremont Authorizing Acquisition by Eminent Domain of Portions of Golden State Water Company's Water System Known as the Claremont District Water System to the Extent Located within Portions of Unincorporated Area of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, or Otherwise Outside the Boundaries of the City of Claremont (together, the "Amended Resolutions of Necessity"). The Amended Resolutions of Necessity provide more detail in the property descriptions for the Claremont Water System that is the subject of the Eminent Domain Action. The Amended Resolutions do not change the project that was evaluated in the Final EIR. The Amended Resolutions are consistent with the scope of the approved project evaluated in the Final EIR. Therefore, the certified Final EIR serves as the environmental documentation for the project and the Amended Resolutions of Necessity.
