Document Description
The project consists of updating the City's current Housing Element (a required element of the General Plan) in accordance with Sections 65580 through 65589.8 of the CA Government Code. The updated Housing Element addresses the City's housing issues and needs for the period between 2013 to 2021. The adoption of the Housing Element will not in itself result in any environmental impact as the project is a policy document on housing issues rather than a development proposal. Furthermore, the Housing Element, if adopted, would apply citywide as it is not associated with a specific site, parcel, and/or lot.
