Document Description
The Five Cities Lift Station Replacement Project consists of the replacement of the existing 1960's vintage above-grade lift station with a submersible wet well lift station and installation of approximately 2,300-LF of 8-in diameter forcemain sewer pipe. The lift station will have an enclosed chemical containment building and on site emergency generator. The existing lift station is located on Hwy 1 (also called Dolliver Street in the Project area) in the right-of-way across from the Pismo State Beach North Beach Campground entrance. The existing forcemain is a 6-in main aligned along the easterly side of Hwy 1, crossing Hwy 1 at Cypress Street and then crossing the Pismo Creek on the wooden Cypress Street Bridge. The City will be upgrading the Five Cities forcemain to an 8-inch diameter pipe as part of the project.
