Document Description
The proposed project involves construction of approximately 1,222,455 assignable sf of new academic, administrative, residential, parking facilities, and recreational uses on the Orange Coast College campus at 2701 Fairview Road in Costa Mesa. In addition to new construction, the proposed project would involve the renovation of four existing buildings, totaling approximately 67,953 ASF and demolition of approximately 166,784 ASF. A new Planetarium, a student housing project and a mixed-use development would be added to the campus. The proposed project would also involve improvements to the pedestrian circulation network in and around campus and the enhancement of open space areas through landscape and pedestrian plaza improvements. Construction of the proposed project would result in the reconfiguration of existing parking.
