Document Description
The project would provide back-up emergency fire water in the event of a disaster such as an earthqake or other catastrophic event. The proposed project involves the addition of a pump house near the existing Ammonia Storage Building on the Parnassus campus to house two new fire pumps, and the construction of a new underground main from the pump house to the existing fire main near the Central Utility Plant. The project also includes the construction of fencing along Parnassus Avenue and planting of ornamental landscaping.
