Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department) is a responsible agency for this project. The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. Alpine Village Water Company proposes a project that includes the construction of one 60,000 gallon storage tank to replace a failing 40,000 gallon tank that is severely corroded, structurally unsound, and leaks at an approximate rate of 1,200 gallons per day. The tank is facing an eminent risk of complete failure and loss of water storage capability. Construction of a second storage tank is planned for a future date.
