Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department), as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The Cucamonga Valley Water District proposed project included the installation of a package granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment system for well 19. Cucamonga Valley Water District currently operates 3 well that heve a high concentration of nitrates and dibromochloropropane (DBCP) which pump from the Cucamonga Basin Aquifer into Reservoir 3A. The installation of a package GAC system would filter the water and bring the system back into compliance with health standard limits.
