The proposed project is the South Bay Pride Art and Music Festival, which took place onSaturday, September 14, 2013. The District will provide event sponsorship and financial assitance for the event, a community art and music festival. The event took place at Chula Vista Bayfront Park and featured the following: a main stage area with live music entertainment throughout the day; a dance entertainment area; an Art of Pride in the park display; a children's garden; a wine and beer garden; and a variety of activities, vendors, and exhibitors. Parking was provided at the parking lot serving Chula Vista Bayfront Park. The event had anattendance of over 1,500 people.
