Document Description
Using only State funds, the CALTRANS, will place a 0.10-foot thin blanket overlay on approximately 10.9 (mi) of (SR) 3 in Siskiyou County, starting 2.5 (mi) north of the community of Fort Jones, and ending at the southwest corner of the City or Yreka. The work will include: repairing areas of localized deteriroation, using dig out repairs; backing shoulers to accomodate the new pavement height; and adjusting/upgrading guardrail to meet current standards as needed. Execpt fot parking, staging, and material stockpiling, all work will remain on the roadway hinge points and now work will occur on bridge decks.
