Document Description
The proposed project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing corroded valves and water pipes to the roof-mounted HVAC condenser units. The building was built in 2004. The existing horizontal water pipes and valves connected to the condenser units are on the roof and in the basement and will be replaced in kind. Temporary hoses will be attached to temporary condenser units mounted on a street level flatbed truck adjacent to the building on East 2nd Street for the duration of the repair to allow for continuation of service. A permit by the City of Los Angeles will be obtained and the project will meet all local codes and ordinances. The project will ensure the health, safety and comfort of the Department of Transportation employees and clients.
