Document Description
The proposed project is to replace the old (1980s) vault restroom located at the Red Cliffs Day Use Area within Red Rock Canyon State Park with a new modern ADA Tioga CXT vault restroom. All work will be completed by the Department's Accessibility Construction Unit (ACU).
The existing restroom will be pumped dry and demolished. The existing vault/pit (approximately 16' x 10') will be backfilled with imported road base, compacted in 12" lifts to finished grade. The existing concrete flatwork around the old vault restroom and sidewalk will be demolished and removed. All of the demolished materials will be disposed in an approved manner.
