Document Description
A series of storms during September 2013 resulted in severe flooding and damage to the Mt. San Jacinto SP/ Idyllwild Nature Trail, which traverses the perimeter of the campground. An approximately 500' section of the trail bed was left eroded, leaving rot systems exposed, uneven tread and areas covered in debris. The trail is currently difficult to follow and could be safety hazard to the public. The trail needs to be realigned, repaired, and rebuilt in way that will better hold up to the seasonal weather conditions.
