Document Description
Remove approximately 6 acres of invasive, non-native English ivy (Hedera helix), Cape ivy (Delairea odorata), English holly (liex aquifolium), montbresia (Crocosmia X crocosmifiora), and three-cornered leek (Allium triquetrum) over the course of several years, in Humboldt Lagoons State Park and Harry A. Merlo State Recreation Area to restore the native ground cover. Work will:
* Manually excavate up to 24 inches, using loppers, rakes, shovels, and pulaskis to remove the plants and roots. All removed vegetation will be taken to a compost facility.
