Document Description
Adoption of amendments to the Geothermal Grant and Loan Program regulations, located in sections 1660-1665 and Appendix A of Title 20, California Code of Regulations. The mission of the program is to promote and provide financial support for research on the development of California's vast geothermal energy resources. The program has been in operation since 1981; however, the exisitng program regulations have not been amended since their adoption in 1985. The primary purpose of the amendments are to update and streamline the program application process, clarify statutory requirements, and delete provisions that are outdated due to changes in statute or Energy Commission practice.
