Document Description
This project is part of the extended Phase 1 archeology surveys for the SAC 99 Seismic Bridge Retrofit. The project is within the floodplain of the Consumnes River and the Cosumnes River Overflow. The study area totals 60.02 acres and is approximately 1 mile long. For the archeology surveys, a backhoe will be employed to create trenches in an effort to identify buried prehistoric deposits, if present. Subsurface will consist of a maximum of 72 units (test pits) within the study area.
