Document Description
The project is limited to the removal and repair of 75-foot long concrete masonry unit wall that has failed along a 30-foot section and collapsed into Wildcat Creek. The project will remove the failed well and shot-rete from the pedestrian bridge along Wildcat Creek. After removal is complete the project will install a rock toe foundation and grade the slopes back to a 2 to 1 grade. The rock toe will be keyed into the slope and a brush mattress will be keyed in the above the rock toe and along the new slope. The brush mattress will consist of willow pole cuttings. Approximately 10 cubic yards of sediment will be excavated from the channel below the repair site and one redwood tree shall be removed. All equipment will perform work from the top of the bank. Equipment employed will include excavator/blackhoe, personnel vehicles, and hand-tools. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0371-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
