Document Description
Replace approximately 5,600' of existing galvanized steel plumbing and 1,800' of cast iron waste water plumbing in the City Hotel within Columbia STate Historic Park due to corrosion and to meet current health codes. Work will remove drywall, crown moldings, chair rails wainscot, and baseboards, and open wooden and concrete floors to access the plumbing, savage and repair these features when possible or replace in kind; and replace plumbing with copper or ABS (Acrylonitrite Butadiene Styrene) piping. This project meets the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
