Document Description
The Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline Land Use Plan Amendment updates and refines the vision for the park that was established by the original 1977 Land Use Development Plan (1977 Plan). The main objectives of the Land Use Plan Amendment are to (I) Designation Davis Street as the park entrance and plan for the development of vehicular access, parking, and trails within the park; (2) Guide the final grading of the park based on the recommended roadways, trails, staging, and activity areas; (3) Develop an implementation plan for the restoration of natural vegetation and wildlife habitat appropriate to Oyster Bay, including evaluation of funding and staff operation resource needs; and (4) Re-evaluate and designate the appropriate and desirable activities to be supported at Oyster Bay.
