Document Title
Ascension Heights Subdivision Project
Document Type

Present Land Use
Designated Medium Low Density Residential; Zoned R-1 / S-8
Document Description
The project would subdivide 6 parcels on 13.32 acres into 21 lots for 19 single-family residences with the remaining 2 lots (~7.8 acres) maintained as a conservation area. Potable water would be provided by connection to the Mid-Peninsula Water District, and wastewater collection would be provided by the Crystal Springs Sanitation District with treatment at the City of San Mateo Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project is a re-design of a previous project, which proposed a subdivision of the project site into 27 parcels, 25 of which would have been developed; the previous project was denied by the San Mateo County Planning Commission in 2009. The applicant and County have since engaged the community in a discussion of the project and the revised project for reconsideration as a reduced intensity project.
