A Business Enhancement Zone (BEZ) project consisting of a request to modify the Master and Precise Development Plan (Master Sign Program) for the Westfield North County regional shopping center to install a new 87.5 foot high freeway-oriented sign designed to support seven sign cabinets for major mall tenants and an ~15 foot tall by 49 foot wide (735 sf each side) light-emitting diode (LED) reader board mounted on the upper portion of the sign for on-premise advertising. The existing 49-foot high Westfield freeway-oriented sign located along the I-15 frontage would be removed.
