Document Description
The project proposes to demolish the two existing buildings occupied by the Mountain View Church and other site improvements to develop a two-level 17,703 sf commercial use that includes three wood-frames, single-story multi-tenant retail buildings on an elevated podium and parking. Parking and an auto spa will be on the lower level. 99 parking spaces, including 34 surface parking on the elevated podium and 65 parking spaces in the lower level are proposed. The retail space includes a mix of retail services, professional offices and eating and drinking establishments along with an auto spa. New landscaping will be installed along the perimeter of the site, throughout the plaza area of the buildings and the existing slope along the east project boundary. Ingress and egress is at the northeast end of the site at Avery Parkway. Site access is also provided by a shared right-turn in right-turn out driveway with the approved Hampton Inn & Suites project at Marguerite Parkway. A new retaining wall to replace the existing wall will be constructed at the toe of the existing slope.
