Document Description
A SITE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT to allow for the replacement, abandonment, and rehabilitation of approximately 4,388 linear feet of a sewer main line. The alignment project would replace via open-trench (open-cut) approximately 3,945 LF of an 8-inch sewer pipe; and trenchless methods (pipe bursting) 62 LF of an 8-inch sewer pipe; and, rehabilitation of 381 LF of a 10-inch sewer pipe. In addition, the project would be abandoning 2,403 LF of sewer pipe. Work would occur within portions of Switzer Canyon, Balboa Park Municipal Golf Course, and various public rights-of-way areas comprised of portions, 28th Street, 29th Street, 30th Street, 31st Street, Hawthorne Street, Ivy Street, Juniper Street, Burlingame Drive, San Marcos Avenue, and four unnamed alleys. The project alignment lies within the boundaries of the Greater North Park Community Plan area, Greater Golden Hill Community Plan area, and Balboa Park Master Plan area. The site is not included on any Government Code listing of hazardous waste sites.
