Document Description
The San Diego Water Board issued a Clean Water Act section 401 water quality certification (Certification No. R9-2023-0080) to the Project Applicant to mass grade and construct a 25.9-acre multi-family residential development, two open space preserves totaling 18.1 acres, and public road improvements. The public road improvements include the extension of Caliente Avenue to a new public street (Public Street “A”) that will provide access to the development. The Project will also provide an access trail, trailhead, and trail improvements. Project activities will result in permanent loss of aquatic resources under the jurisdiction of the San Diego Water Board. Those impacts will be mitigated by the establishment and enhancement of vernal pools within the onsite open space preserves.
