Petroleum-contaminated soils at approximately 47 areas of concern would be excavated and transported offsite, and the sites would be restored. These sites are located on two parcels totaling, 2,048 acres, within the Shuman Creek and San Antonio Creek watersheds in the Casmalia Oilfield. Approximately 16,309 cubic yards of soil would be remediated in separate disturbance areas totaling approximately 8.48 acres.
