The project is the adoption and implementation of the Alhambra 2013-2021 Housing Element, which represents an update of the City's Housing Element. The Housing Element is an integral component of the City's General Plan, as it addresses existing and future housing needs for all types of persons of all economic segment groups in the City. The City of Alhambra's long-term housing goal is to provide housing opportunities to meet the diverse needs of the community. The IS assesses the potential impacts related to the provision of adequate land to accommodate the City's remaining Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) of 1,492 housing units.
