Document Description
The proposed project includes renovations and additions to existing health care facilities, the construction of small new facilities, and associated infrastructure improvements, all within the developed area of LAC. Specifically, the project includes construction of a new administrative segregation units primary care clinic, two new complex primary care clinics, medication distribution rooms, and a new health care administration and health records building, totaling 20,092 sf of new building space. The project also includes interior renovations (6,424 sf) for medication distribution rooms and central health services and 12,400 sf of additional exterior impervious surface. No high-mast lighting would be installed as part of the project. The project does not include any new inmate beds. Nine additional employees would be hired.
