This project funds two OHV non-law enforcement seasonal park rangers and assisting permanent supervisory positions, medical supplies, truck rentals, and maintenance, which assists in providing emergency medical services to visitors in the Barstow Resource Area's five open OHV riding area (Dumont Dunes, El Mirage, Johnson Valley, Rasor, and Stoddard Valley) with a particular emphasis on Dumont Dunes and El Mirage during five holiday weekends. The OHV seasonal park ranger duties include, but are not limited to, patrol, emergency medical services/rescue, and visitor contacts.
